About Pinehurst No. 2
Pinehurst No. 2 Overview
Pinehurst No. 2 has hosted more single golf tournaments than any other course in the United States. Opened for play in 1907, architect Donald
Ross called his creation, "the fairest test of championship golf I have ever designed." Best known for undulating, crowned greens, Pinehurst
No. 2 has witnessed some of the most memorable moments in golf, and in 2014, made history by becoming the first to host the U.S. Open
and U.S. Women's Open Championships in consecutive weeks.
