gedi83: The first 230 yarder has a green with uphill slope which makes it easier to stop.
The landing zone is slightly up, just intended as an example of what I am generally seeing.
gedi83: The second one, if I remember correctly, isn't really 230, but effectively 240, as there is a difference in elevation.
Just meant as another Par 3 example. It seems to stick / deal with par 3s just as well as the R11. I had already posted a par 3 one for St Gs, not up at all.
The extra distance the Max offers for long Par 3s is a real plus also for it IMO!
gedi83: The third one is pure luck, no merit of the club I suppose :)
Double Eagle (I said it again lol) well yes:)
gedi83: hard to ding with such a slow meter when my irons are R11 and ball Nike RZN..
Personal thing obviously. I am fine with that bit - welcome it actually:)
There are a couple of other vids I posted in the thread. I think, as I said anyway, there seems some minor difference in stopping power on approaches compared to the R11. The vids I posted of the Kiawah and then the Conga one's about sum up what I am seeing including at the 230 mark - very minor IMO.
gedi83: haven't made a single eagle with its approach shot in the Best of Par 5 ready go.
In the end each to their own, and I wish you continued success in those par 5 RGs which you are excellent at. I do fully appreciate that latter part, which is why I am interested in any particular approach shot's you have in mind?.
Good player's thought's are always welcome, and so I thank you for all yours.
Cheers
