The new R11 clubs are outstanding.  Absolutely love them.

Hit the real one on a launch monitor last week and it's a rocket in real life too.  I had purchased an Optishot (golf simulator) from Golfsmith with my last gift card I won here but had to return it because it can't be used outside and being 6'7" I'd need 10 foot ceilings to be able to play on it indoors.  Took that money and found a real R11 on Ebay for $299 brand new.  Should be here on Monday.  Can't wait to put that in my real bag.  Launch monitor was showing about a 15yd gain over my old R7 Superquad once we tweaked it a bit.  Routinely carrying the ball 280-290 (300+ with roll out) on the monitor so can't wait to see how it performs on the real track.  Will keep y'all posted.

I'll go for the three wood in a few months when I level up. I'm half way through level 81 relying big on the consecutive day bonus.15,000 pts between levels now is a lotta golfing. I wonder what the level 88 takes to get to if you've just reached 87. The game is on again against the tour master. With the combo of the legend ball and 280 yard driver I can compete but not excel like I used to. The R 11 driver is a good 6 months away I presume, w/o super drinks, but wgt has trained be to be very patient. Oh how intriguing it is to look forward to such an excellent club lol.

Not on any back nine JB lol. The difference between front and back nine on any course though so far is front ez. Makes me wonder if this is a trend with championship courses, probably.

Here's something interesting about the R9 vs the R11. The shot on the right is a drive with the R11, 294 yards, no spin, blue tees, 4 wind at 1. The shot on the left is with the R9, same conditions (several restarts) and went 293. These are with the Tour-SD ball.

I originally thought I had the pictures backwards because of the difference in trajectories but by the looks of it the R9 is higher.

It looks like the R11 got to a higher height actually to me. It doesn't look that way coz of the angle of the shot with the R9 landing at more of a straight on view. Comparing the apex with that light colored tree seems like the R11 reaches the top while the R9 is slightly below. It's the same screen shot but to make a fair comparison you have to land the shots in the same place. The proof the the angle is making such a big difference is both shots seem to rise and fall with the same arc yet the light colored tree as a apex for the R9 is well behind the apex of the R11 shot. You could try comparing one that hits in the middle of the fairway like the R9 did.

It indeed does higher with the R9 YJ.  Great job at capturing these shots.

It may look that way, but the R11 hits higher and lands softer than R9 in virtual play and R11 will outdistance R9 on big majority of shots, using the same balls of course. IMO

Where do you see the benefit of the higher trajectory? I don't use it because of the meter but am curious because that's what got me interested in the first place. Plus, do you see any difference in wind affecting it?

The distance increase isn't anything to write home about.  :-)
