Tough-It-Out events have run for several years as community organized events here on WGT: they're played with Starter Clubs and Balls only and using Uneven Lies. The Tough-It-Out concept is all about trying to mimic the hardest conditions in Major Championship golf, giving us the challenge of tackling the toughest courses in a manner similar to that faced by the top pros. Par will be a great score! Each month this year we're offering a monthly Tough-It-Out tourney running parallel to the VT. The August event takes us to Oakmont (one of the toughest UEL courses). Please see the special Forum thread for this event to read round reports from other players, and learn all about prizes on offer for achievements in special stats categories and for the top 5 players on the leaderboard.
