  • Re: Match Play Challenge

if Niv and Alee will incorporate their match challenges, i'd like to buy shares in their IPO's.

  • Re: rapture pro set

my thoughts after playing the new rapture pro set (minus the driver of course); generally speaking, all of the clubs performed to their rated distances...including the 7i, chips and pitches. i played 18 ranked holes at BPB (master tees of course) and as expected, never once used the new 2 hybrid....of course, had i encountered a head wind on #3 this

  • rapture pro set

my thoughts before i play them; 3wd: sure, an extra 10 yards will probably prove to be a wonderful improvement....many par 5's and even the dreaded 10mph headwind on BPB15 will now be reachable. 2h: not so sure about this one...rapture players often agree the 3hybrid is perhaps the most valuable of all the raptures, especially when playing from

  • Re: Falling Prizes Pots?

t-bird makes good points....i would add that there should still be weekly "free" entries, but some weekly tourneys could have a nominal entry fee...if 400 masters will put up 5cr for a weekly 18-single play, there's your 2000 prize pool. so, i would suggest the weekly 9-unl remain free...and maybe the weekly 9-single play also free...

  • Re: Disconnecting

    1) they don't like their score and don't want it to be recorded against their average. 2) consider yourself lucky they actually played to the last hole. gl

  • Re: Variable Wind

i've shared a similar opinion in the past...last i looked, i've not seen any pros in real life standing on a tee or in a fairway with a whirlybird in hand. maybe in 2013 wgt can lose the wind speed and direction indicator and offer the ability to toss some loose grass in the air...players can judge the wind the old fashioned way. gl

  • Re: Slow initial loading, lately

you are not alone Rsoldin, it comes and goes for me...i haven't cleared any caches for a few weeks so my system doesn;t have to recache everything...and last week, i was in an 18 hole match game and we waited 1 minute or so for every "loading next"...then on hole 6, inexplicably it all returned to normal load time...i was watching my internet

  • Re: Poll: Which tees would you play from if you could choose?

sure, given the exact same bag, excepting for a master driver from the master tees, and a pro driver from the pro tees, some of you/us "could" shoot the same score in a match where we played ourselves. but the question is "advantage"...all things being equal...where your argument falls short is in DEVIATION...if WGT gives me equal

  • Re: Poll: Which tees would you play from if you could choose?

i agree with nivlac...no brainer; the only "master level" club i play is my R9 master...then its raptures, a tour 54w, and a starter LW...i've played many pro players playing a very similar bag...G10 pro driver, raptures and a few wedges. in the above scenario, as the master versus a pro with a similar bag, i'm at a clear disadvantage

  • Re: Have the greens completely changed?

in the weekly tourneys, you have to be very observant on the 1st hole....if your lucky, you'll get a 6' birdy putt....if it trickles in with 7' speed, you should play the rest of the holes as "normal"...likewise, if it reaches the hole with plenty of speed to spare, you've got fast greens for the rest of the round...i don't
