  WGT awarded me the most expensive balls that cos 450 credits. Fantastic of them to let me use these balls for free.
  
  I have been using the WGT G12-D Balls for quite some time prior to trying the Nike balls. I think these G12-D ball are about 62 credits or more if you want color of course.

  I can easily say that the G12-D balls are on par or better than these Nike balls that I tried.
  
  My game suffered at first but as I got a little used to the Nike ball, I realized that this ball was making my shot travel at an exaggerated course when the ball hit the green. I was over shooting the green with too much consistency compared to the G12-D balls.
  
  Maybe it is just me, but I think these G12-D ball are the bomb. Get some and give them a couple of 3-packs to get used to them. The shots are as long as you would want to get out of a ball.
  
  I shot a drive that was about 365 yards on the 18th hole at St. Andrews which was my longest drive so far.
  
  Give me them G12-D balls

  The Nike balls are the #1 choice by almost all low average players. For shot control, spin & distance the G12-D ball can't compare with them.....just my opinion:)

  Yes, that would happen since the nikes have 4 and a half distance dots and the G12-d only one. So every shot goes farther with the nikes so you'd have to back off a little or club down for the same distance. But the Nikes have a lot of spin for stopping the ball on the greens quickly, if not sooner. The G12-D's have a nice price, slow the meter just enough but are a half dot less durable than the G12-S's, and a whole dot less durable than the Nike. Distance wise the Nikes are incredible!

  I also am impresed with the G12 balls, but I prefer the S because it has more durability, but I would recommend the G13's even more, still under 100 credits.

  Anything that eases the pain of losing balls is good. If I lose a Callaway or a Nike, I have to have a lie down or kick the dog around the garden.

  I lost my first Nike ball on a test on St. Andrews 1st hole. But I made par anyway.
  
  I tried the SD balls today. I noticed that the meter speed was true and not slowed down as it was with the G-12s.....but.... I did notice the sticking power that I did not have with the G-12s.

  I will give the SD balls a fair try in the next week. 65 credits is a fair price for a 3 pack of balls. 450 credits for three balls.....come on..... I can get a bad ass new top of the line wedge for that price. Nike balls are a credit pit.....money pit.....or whatever.....they are too out of the ball park to even consider buying for half the credit price for what they do.
  
  I play sub par with the G12s. Ain't that what it is all about?
  
  I will give an update on the SDs in a few weeks.
  
  I will try those G13s too.
  
  These G balls are easier on the dog too.

  OK, I am through with SD balls. The actions from this ball are great as far as chips and approach shots. Then the carnage begins on the green.
  
  This ball takes off like it has some kind of rocket attached to it when trying to make putts. I had a 107 yard putt. I used the max of 90 on my Rosa putter. The ball shot past the hole and just kept going.
  
  Short putts would not conform to the resistance. They went straight like a cheap starter putter. Maybe the Anser putter. (I don't think they have the crummy putter that would launch balls past the hole from two feet away that I am really thinking of.)

  Anyway....The SD ball seems to have very little if any advantage as far as distance goes compared to the G12-D....In fact, the G12-D seems to get better distance than the SD.
  
  One positive thing that I noticed was the approach shot difference with the SD. I am not used to that type of stopping. I was giving the ball less power to compensate for the roll  on the green with the D balls. But ....when you shoot for a hole that is on the other side of a hill, this SD ball gave a better shot closer to the hole with much less roll. 
  
  Now I am trying out the S and forgetting the SD. The SD is too unpredictable in too many instances that makes you lose a good shot to the green a nightmare when trying to seal the deal with an eagle or a birdie.

  So far with the S, I am getting the putts that I was used to getting or ever better. This ball is new to me still. I like it so far as compared to the SD.....and the credit price is the same. The meter speed is the only drawback.

  I was enjoying the slower meter speed with the 12-D. I can play with any swing/meter speed I think. 

   I will give another evaluation on my search for the best low priced ball in a few days.

  Right now I am wondering if the new Nike G-20 clubs might be a perfect match to this S ball. I have not tried these clubs yet but these are the only new clubs I would consider to own as an upgrade.

  I understand exactly what you are saying about backing off. I did that after I saw this incredible roll on a green that would have been a perfect shot with the 12-D. I dropped my jaw when it happened.
  
  The putting was very good with the Nike.....but not 450 credits good.
