I've only just joined. a level 20 hack, but I had loose change and now have 1600 credits.

Can anyone help with some advice about kitting out my bag? Thx in advance.

I see you got some wedges, that's always a good start.

As for the irons and driver, I'd wait until some better equipment is unlocked, around the lvl 35 mark and upgrade then.

Yes definitely wait until later. At level 35 the full set of R11s open up which will take you all the way to Master tier. As for putter the Ghost Spider is very nice as well.

    Hi NickDiNardo,

Since you've already spent some money buying some wedges, I would recommend adding a driver to your setup. A Rapture VS 10.5 Driver (L24+) would be a great buy. It goes 245, has a slow meter, and high forgiveness.

As you progress through the levels, it's not a bad idea to invest more money into the Rapture series clubs. They're solid, forgiving, and chosen by a majority of lower level players here.

If you start making money (or have some left over) after that, investing in a new putter would be a good idea as well. At level 35, the TaylorMade Ghost Spider Putter (L35+) would be a great investment. It has fantastic stats for that low of a level, and is especially forgiving (even more so than higher level putters). You could hold out until level 51 for the Nike Method 001 Putter (L51+), but if you're looking for a solid putter to buy soon, look no further than the spider.

Additionally, I would take out your hybrid and add another wedge, that way you can easily cover all distances from ~50 - ~110 yards, but that can wait.

Just don't make the mistake of thinking "I have to have all this NOW!" I see too many players do that instead of taking time to learn the game, and adding to their equipment along the way. I did this myself many years ago, and I can't help but to regret it in a way.

Best of luck in all your future WGT endeavors.

honestly, i would hoard all your credits, keep playing with what you have until you have truly got the most out of your clubs.  if you're still a low level hack, then you're playing the front tees, slower green speeds, etc.  learn the game, learn the courses.  i only started upgrading my bag after i got bumped to a level where my driver wouldn't even reach the fairways on half the holes, lol.

I'm with TLD, a lot of players I think go out and get the latest and greatest they have available to them, and maybe it helps them score better, but once they are moved back on the tee-box and no longer have driver/wedge on every hole, their scores balloon again.

I second pill, my motto was "wait until it hurts".

Now you have custom driver, wedges and putter, play them at least until u r a pro. Then a 3WD or hybrid might be a good extension - the starter 3WD is the worst club in a noob's bag (except for the Swing starter putter).

Play everyday and in less than a week you can buy this complete set. It will save you mulah over buying items individually.

Im happy with the purchases I've made so far. The Driver and Irons are next for bag, but I'm not in any rush just yet, will have some fun with what I have for now.

    Thx All, appreciate the advice.
