Played the WGT Nation Members tourney on SA.. Had it going on early.. 8 under thru 6 (holed out for eagle on #2 and eagled #5) when WOOOP WOOOP WOOP!!!  the alarms went off at WGT central, and the beatings commenced..  next 3 holes, pretty simple putts inside 10 feet weren't even close.. all three putts dinged.  I am NEVER surprised anymore when goofy *** happens in the middle of a good round.   We've all played SA a bazillion times.. putting is pretty easy inside 10 feet.. unless, of course, you're -8 thru 6.. then all bets are off..

Some day I won't get fked in the middle of a good round.. 2 years and counting though..  not holding my breath..

Why would WGT care if you were in the hunt for a 52 or 53 or 54 in this tournament?

Why didn't this happen to Acole02 or Hanswurst72 or Kriztjan or Rab10 during their rounds?

I've played 18 hole RGs on STA where I was only 1 under after 4 holes but still shoot 58-61. Did the alarms go off at WGT central allowing me to start making putts?

I've had rounds being 6 under after 5 and end up shooting 61-64.

In my opinion, if you "get fked" in the middle of every good round you're having in the last 2 years you're either A: getting nervous/tense or B: Over thinking shots.

The tournament is a sweepstakes tournament. Even is someone shoots a 51 they aren't guaranteed to win anything. So I ask again. Why would WGT care if you were in route to a sub 55 round?

I had a good round going, a great front 9, then BAM! I f'd up and made a pair of bogeys. Slight mishits on the wrong side, misreads, sloppy with the wind. This tends to happen about halfway through the round... I get overconfident and careless. Should take a break. When will I be able to make it through a round without messing up????

i can understand your frustration, i myself have felt like this at times.

in the kiawah open i was for sure to hit my 1st 56 bt o no not to be again, the 17th well it was rather a meter fart or brain fart lol ..

but yes i went in the water nooooooooooooooooo...

i myself was rather upset... "f..king wgt are playing with my meter" i was saying to myself..

"its fixed this sh!@" i said to myself.

but i have to agree with darsum  why would wgt give a monkeys if i hit a good score or not. sometimes we have to take a deep breath and admit we made a mistake ..    ;)

When playing well             we play more = more revenue for wgt

When  shooting low sometimes a case of nerves will creep in and then  shot execution goes in crapper.  Not wgt's fault   its my brain-->finger clicker that gets out of whack due to increased pressure putting on myself.
