I've got some thoughts on something that could be a nice addition to the end of tourneys. It's bothered me for a while that when you tie someone you never get to see where on the scorecard you either bested or busted up on.

Well that got me thinking in a little different direction. Could we have a replay of the tourney? This could be any tourney, but for starters let's just say this month's Master tier. Currently there is one player in front (Jake), nice job by the way ;), and 4 players in 2nd the last time I checked I think. What if...

You could make a "replay" of that tourney with the first 4 placed players. Show each shot, then the scorecard at the completion of the hole. If you used a 10 sec clip for each shot and 10 sec for scorecard at the end of the hole, talking 40 min if my math is right, using a 60 average. Probably could cut that down, certainly might need to be, anyway...

Obviously there would be some basic requirements, first, WGT had to have saved these shots, which I think you do, if not, well forgot it then :(. Second would it be too time consuming to do. I know if I had the raw footage I could do it in matter of hours, and I really don't fancy myself as much of a graphics expert, used to be, but that's another story for another time ;). I could only guess the WGT staff are pretty good at stuff like this, at least better than me.

Anyhow, let me know what you guys think. It could be the one main tourney of the month sort of thing. Thinking it would be pretty neat to see exactly what it takes to win one of these. From someone who has won a few times I can tell you it's hardly ever smooth, always has its ebbs and flows.

That's a great idea. There's been a large number of times when I've finished a tourney tied for the lead, but due to the tiebreaker I've either won or finished 2nd. I think you're right that a replay should be done only for one big monthly tourney; but why can't we simply see the scorecard of the other players in each tourney?

Again, not sure of the technical requirements, but I wonder if each player's score was a hyperlink, you could just click on it and see their scorecard. It would let me know that I lost because I failed to birdie 17 on the Kia B9, or something like that.
