What's the dot on the ball do?
Allows you to apply more back spin or "release" to the ball. With added backspin, it will fly less far, but more often check on the green.
Push forward to get top spin, lower flight, less impact from wind. I.e. you can get more length when wind is against you.
Pull back to get backspin, higher flight, but also more impact from wind. Be carefull in strong crossing wind.
Tom.
Don't forget to add and subtract distance when you move the dot it makes a big difference.
