I'm not even sure what to think about this one. Yes, I've read many accounts where the ball did or didn't do what it was supposed to and now I'm adding to that list.

I missed the  ding by the width of the line on this shot which is why was surprised where the ball landed.

If you watch this, check out these, IMO, facts. View is not close but zoom helps on some pictures.

    Four views.

First view clearly shows avatar aiming at the flag or at least the green.

Second view shows what appears to be his right side and aiming at the sand traps.

Third view shows him appearing to be set up facing downhill with the green in back or behind him.

Fourth view clearly shows face, left side and  with club behind the ball aiming downhill.

If you play this, he is aiming at the flag and hit 90 degrees to the right, landing between the traps.

OK, I've seen these types of pictures picked apart. Some I agree with and some I don't. What are your thought's?

I can't prove I missed the ding by the width of the line but maybe you can prove I didn't.

YEP. Another Avatar's riot. But, then, let me say that that position is not convenient for anybody, even for an avatar.

Just guessing here but looks like you have the graphics quality set to low?

if so you may have also set Avatar Angles to off to help with your connection?

From where you were on that hole if you moved the aiming point you may have moved it where it actually went.

Avatar Angles will point the golfer in the direction of the aiming point so you KNOW where it is actually pointed.

    just saying,

    Thanks for your comment Danny,

Graphics were set as high as possible. Maybe the view is distorted because the camera positions seem to be 1/8 of a mile away.

Please correct me if I'm mistaken but I thought the position of your avatar made no difference as long as the arrow or ball flight path was correct. That the precise avatar placement was more of a want than of a need.

I assumed, possibly incorrectly, than if the arrow was placed into the cup then that's the direction your ball will go if hit correrctly. Maybe not make it to the cup or fly past it but still in that direction.

There are certain places, mostly off-fairway, where the ball will (?with higher probability?) fly like ricocheting. Seems you have hit one.
