  A way to turn off the 'ding" sound would be very nice. I like the sound of the clubs, and the ball landing but the annoying loud DDDDIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG is just too much to bare anymore. 

  Some birds would be nice too.

  Do you mean a way to turn off the DING as in when you hit the strike line?  Or are you referring to dings caused by players going on/off your friends list?

  Wow...   I ding my shots so infrequently that whenever I hear the sound, it's a cause for celebration. Seems to me to be an important element of game-play, to know whether you hit the line or not. True, the word EXCELLENT appears as well. I suppose this could be a user-selectable option.

  iirc, it used to say "perfect" so many years ago... lol

  I understand MrBoo's point... something in an option would be nice.  Perhaps a crowd roar?  Some drunken gallery member shouting 'youdaman!' or 'getinthehole!'  Or even a bell with a different frequency... just something different is all.

  And yes, I actually agree with Mr. Faterson.  I, too, hit the dinger so infrequently that is almost a shock when it does sound.  lol
