Im having the same problem in choosing the right wedges to replace the sand and lob wedges. The starters only show yardage but not degree angle. When trying to select a club, cant do a comparison to be sure.Hopefully somebody will help us both out.

Get the Cleveland 56, 60, and 64 degree wedges. Play them without spin to get used to them. Then, you can add spin as you adjust.

These charts might help. Ideal is when you have even, as short as possible, gaps between your wedges. This will depend on how many of the 5 shots you use with each wedge (full, pitch, chip, punch and flop.)

OK , I was kidding about last response.

With your iron set going down to 100 yrds  and that you already have a 60yrd cleveland, I'd add just 1 80 yrd wedge to fill the gap. As you move up in ironsets, you will want to have either a 50 75 100 yrd wedge combo if going with zsatin and pings or  60 80 100 setup if staying with clevelands ( which is what I personally prefer)

    Lonnie, This^

I also have the Rapture irons and the Cleveland 56, 60, 64 fits in very nicely, though as RUNWME points out the L25 & L33 Raptures go down to 100 yds. so the 90 yd. 56 degree Cleveland might not be needed. I have the L48 which goes down to 110 so the 90 comes in handy. I've noticed many players use this combo (56, 60, 64) to go with various brands/models of irons. I'm not familiar with the TM or Ping wedges, they are popular, too.

As to how degrees of loft correspond to the nomenclature (pitching, approach, sand, lob) google choosing wedges. For example one site says:

    PW – 46 to 48°

    AW/GW – 51 to 53°

    SW – 54 to 58°

    LW – 58 to 60°

The 64 degree ones would be called a super loft wedge. I think for WGT the names are less important than the type of loft (med/high or high) and the rated distance.
