  The best I can say from the basement is

  enjoy! have fun! Try something new!

  One thing to do is to improve your Choke Relief Award standing - hit the drive less than 100 + make Par (e.g. on STA #10).

  Or, select Starter clubs (or Starter ball for whiners) and play the game (special recommendation for the Qualifier).
