Is there any way to substitute a wedge for a 3-iron?

    Thanks!

Thanks.  I just have to decide if I want to eliminate the 3-wood, or hybrid.

Yeah I've been thinking about that too for whenever I get club sets etc.

I'm actually of the opinion that if you have a strong driver you should ditch the 3 wood, not the 3 hybrid. Hybrid's not gonna lose much distance, and if you land in some of these 20-25% roughs, the 3wood is pretty useless. I'd rather be prepared for that.

Most players ditch the hybrid pretty early. The 3 wood can be punched out of most rough.

This was the method I used until I made Legend tier.  I still think this is the best way to go because of the exact reasoning you mentioned.
