    120                                126 if your lucky                    116                     121

    135                                 140 if your lucky                    131                     136

    150                                 157                                          147                    153

    165                                 173                                          161                    166

    180                                 189                                          176                    183

    195                                 205                                          191                    197

    210                                  222                                         206                    212

    225                                235/240                                   221                     228-230

This is only a rough guide and some holes might give you a different outcome because they play longer or elevation change, but i stick to using this rough table when calculating shots and adapt it for certain holes.

(and when using higher level nikes i might deduct an extra yard for full spin, and add a yard for 3/4 spin)

Is this before or after your fluctuations, deviations and VEM?

Great info Chris...would you also share your adjustments for elevation? Thanks.

    chrisironsbones:

    10 mph wind (add/subtract yards)

    60 yards wedge=3 yards, 80 yard wedge=4, 100 yards wedge and 120 PW = 5, 9i = 5,. 8i = 6, 7i=6.5, 6i=7, 5i=8 4i=9 or 10 (depending on hole or if on tee)

I just used this and think I like it :-)

How unlucky was this shot?   I pulled the pin on the shot but the replay shows it in...

choked my 100yd CG to where I would for an 80 yd shot but then added 5 yds for the wind based on Chris's #'s.

and yes....I did make the putt ;-) lol

Watch some videos here. I was astounded to see how much this champion player aims left or right even in a 10 mph wind.

Wouldn't it be a bit easier to use the 100 yard wedge punched, gives you 84 yards so not much choking to do.  A few times i've choked the 100 yard wedge to what is USUALLY say 90 and come up well short or well long, and if you add say half spin on top that too deducts a few yards before even starting.

But i said the above before watching the replay, thinking you had landed 10 yards long or something. NICE SHOT.

**WOW 30 seconds wait just to watch a replay, love those ads.

Firstly, thx for the "nice shot"

I was torn between choking and punching,  kinda have the choking of the 100 wedge figured out so I tried it  figuring the wind formula was more for a full shot.

as for the 30 second ad.... Have you tried an 'AD BLOCKER'   I don't get the ads anymore with it.   In extensions for your browser search ad block or something of that nature.

BTW.....I'm still on the10th green of the round that I posted that replay lmao.   Thats how it goes when I play a round at work.. work then hit a few shots.....work and hit a few more...rinse then repeat

Elevation for 3ft up i add a yard and 4ft down i subtract a yard.  (but remember, some of elevation which is shown might be a few yards out and takes practice to figure them out)

And remember all, those yardages are just a rough guide and what i stick too as a reference point, some holes might say 190 yards, you use 195  iron full spin expecting 191 but land on195 yards.  You need to figure out what holes play longer, shorter, higher or lower.  Hope it helps
