    Hi

Can we please have an option to select "Scottish" rather than UK?  I would much prefer to play under a St Andrews flag rather than the Union Jack.  I am very proud to be a Scot and would like to show it.  I think you may get the same request from the Welsh!

not the worst idea i've read here.

what next? the 50 state flags?

its not like anyone not from there could pick a scot from a brit  out of  a line up. no more than a scot could tell a new yorker from a new mexican.

Well - A new yorker is same nationality as a new mexican. A scot is not from England. Scotland is a different country all together.

The 50 states all make out USA.

So it isn't a strange request after all.

Actually the Union Jack is not the flag of England but the United Kingdom which consists of England,Northern Ireland,Scotland and Wales. So in theory using the Union Jack is correct.

I agree about the union jack being the flag of the UK, but in particular the English prefer to fly it rather than their own flag - St George's.  Scotland does have a very strong identity.

PEDANT ALERT! The flag is only called the Union Jack when flown from a jackstaff. When it's flown from land it is known as the Union Flag. More useless knowledge for you
