I think the couple of free "best holes" and "hardest holes" courses are great. It would be good to have a par3, par 4, and par 5 collection as well, as you probably have enough for 9 holes of each, and they should also provide a nice blend of different courses, challenges, etc.

I disagree. Full courses instead of "collection" would be better. I would like to play a full 18 stroke on harbour town!!

So it's your way or nothing? Obviously, collections are easier than new courses, but why does it have to be one or the other?

    What should it be then??

Best of shortest? Best of easiest/all eagles.

The bad thing with misc.-course , you cant start judging next tee, what you can on a ordinaire course, when you know it. Wind direction and power dont change from hole to hole.

Come on with what Best of watershots ooops it is in blitz already.

Name a new idea, and see if you get any response +/-

I have never said nothing, but only apply to what wgt has promoted, new course every year, they made olympic this year!

Wind direction and speed is random from hole to hole, it does not stay the same.

Putting down an others suggestion with a reason that IMO by your 1,111 ranked rounds you should know is wrong.

On collectioncourse yes, but on f.ex. st andrews all conditions on all holes i set on 1. tee!

Another reason i dont like collections, holes dont change, its too predictable to play them!

First you are even confusing your own argument, How do holes on collection course not change and are easy if the wind changes hole by hole??

All courses stroke play and CTTH have random winds that change hole by hole, not a set pattern for all 9 or 18 that is set on 1st tee.

Think about it, for set wind patterns there would need to be hundreds for each course so that the patterns would not be easy to learn, where as for random winds all that is needed is to code that for the whole game. From a coding point of view random for the whole game is much, much easier than having people code several thousand wind patterns.

A best of par 3 or par 5 holes course would skew the averages for stroke play games...A best of par 4 course would be ok because the par would still be 36..
