OK, if WGT uses this, I want $100 in credits. I think this would be helpful for players and generate revenue for WGT.
When you purchase new equipment, what do you base the selection on? I think the WGT software coders should build an algorithm that looks at a player's general statistics: number of putts per hole, percentage of putts made by distance, etc., length of drives, chipping/pitching statistics, fairways hit, GIR, current score/handicap. I am sure there is a ton of data out there.
Then, based on what the player currently has in his/her bag, the algorithm would suggest options for different clubs, at different price levels, that would be the best investment to improve their game, based on the current clubs, scoring average and the data analyzed.
