  Quitting is definitely bothersome.  What got me tonight is I was playing against a guy, I made a couple of nice comments like "good putt", "nice par" and then he came back and was doing some serious smack talk.  I refused to reply.  I three putted and he went one up and really started smack talking.  Then I won two holes in a row followed by him hitting into some fescue and then he quits!  It's a gentleman's game and it's for fun and I run into a jerk like this.  It's amazing.

  Now the quitting is not just on the Challenge Match Play games, but on the regular match play games as well.  What really gets me is when they quite before the first shot is even hit, at least if they tee off, you get the win if they don't reconnect.

   

  Well said Doctorfro, a gentlemens game.  Just like on the real course, sometimes you don't run into many gentlemen.
