It is automaticaly converted to credits at the time you earn them--you should notice you credit balance gong up by that amount.
Click on "account" and see your transaction history. You will see your balance going up by the amount of credits you earned at the time you earned them (bonus for moving up a tier, tournament winnings, etc.)
