    Hi

Is it possible to include a Ball Damage/Duration in the Ball Equipment Screen, Something like the Meter we have in the game screen.

I post this only because im tired of losing shots on erratic Ball reaction, unable to control Ball, and therefore this is discouraging me from purchasing credits to buy new balls as we dont get to use all three,As we know we go back to using the standard and quite frankly useless balls.

Even the choice of selecting a new Ball would be welcome as im sure most real life golfers can see what state their balls are in and can adjust accordingly

Thanks for reading, Hope i get some positive feedback on this and WGT can implement it.

    hi

equipment doesn't break nor has durability. once you buy it, it will function the same.

balls have durability and the durability meter is location on lower right corner. when it turns red, it means ball soon will wear out and will be take out of the game. ball performs the same whether it's new or has 1 hit left in it, there is no such thing as a diminished performance.

    Hi

Yes, I understand that equipment such as clubs do not break so to speak, but as you point out balls have durability.

I know about the ball durability meter during a game, But what i mean is this.

EG 1- You have 1 Nike ball thats got about 6 holes of play left on it, Now bearing in mind the player has not used this ball in 2 months and has forgotten that theres only about 6 holes worth of play in it.  So hes playing along and say the players 4 under when the ball is taken out of play.

Here is my point,  The player knows he has other decent balls in his bag, Maybe some callaways, but he cant go anywhere near them as WGT does not allow this option, but in a real game he can pull 1 out of his bag and use it. WGT has set it as their bog standard ball and if player has other balls he should be able to use them. After all he has paid cash for them and should be able to use them as and when he wants.

Also, the same said meter should be put on the ball selection screen so players can see what durability is left on it and can plan accordingly.

Im not questioning performance on a used ball, I am requesting that you put the same kind of meter on ball selection part of equipment screen as im not the only one who has had a round spoiled by WGT free balls

This option, if WGT implement it should only be allowed if balls taken out of play/lost if its last of its sleeve so theres no changing if his opponent is using a better ball.

I think what he is suggesting is that WGT show us the ball durability meter on the Equipment screen, so we wouldn't have to start a game to see how much durability we have left, which would be nice.

It would also be nice to be able to re-buy balls we already own directly from the Equipment screen, the same way we can when we get to the last ball during game play.

Edit - I didn't see your response, tiger.  Didn't mean to make clear what you already clarified.

Or the option to choose a ball replacement rather then forcing someone  to use the Unlimited ball (short on credits) who has better balls already in his equipment.Sometimes we just dont have the credits to get or replenish at the time when the ball is taken out of play. Buying more balls during a round is totally unreal.

    Either option would work.

The whole wanting to sub other balls instead of the free ball for the last lost/expired ball has been asked to death, and isn't happening.

But certainly a ball duration meter on the Equipment screen should be doable, as well as re-buying balls directly from the Equipment screen.

And here's another idea I had that I'm sure others have had, balla carte.  Sell single balls.  WGT could charge 10 or 15 percent more for a single ball.  And not only would it encourage folks to try different balls, but would let those low on credits to possibly replace a lost/expired last ball.  So, say you're on your last Cally Z and lose it, but don't have 300 CR, you could buy a single ball for 110 CR or so.

    Hi

Labordayk, no need to for apoligies as WGT was clearing my post as ive not posted enuff yet, That is a strange one on me but im followin g the rules regardless.

Ive been playing around 5 months but i dont really use these forums, only my GC forums i use and active on it.

Buying single balls is also an idea but maybe a lil less "WGT tax ".

I suppose its in the lap of the programmers/coders to sort this out
