    3 games in a row now I have had 17-20 winds ( against me ) on every hole that I have played. Doesn't seem too fair. Is there something that factors into the wind speed ?

    This adjustment works for straight at you, or straight away from you. For crosswind's experiment taking a little less depending on the direction, you may need a calculator... lol.

    5mph= 2%,  7mph= 3%, 10mph= 4%, 12mph=5%, 15mph=6%, 17mph=7%, 20mph=8%

    Example's:

    150 yards into a 20mph headwind is (150+8% = 162 )

    150 yards into a 20mph tailwind is (150-8% = 138 )

    WGT just likes to test you to the limits. Get use to it because it's rare that you are not in a hurricane golfing at wgt!

    Come on! Enough with this "Hurricane Wind".....On an avg, were playing in 12 / 15 mph winds. On a nice sunny day, most golf course (depending on location) winds speeds will avg just that - "15 / 20 mph. Give me a break. If the wind is about 5 / 6 mph on the ground, 50 to 100 ft above you (wind gust) could be any where from 10 to 15 mph. Enough with this trash....hurricane winds. Add or subtract roughly 4/5 yrds to every 10 mph winds. Done!....
