  There must be millions of Accounts that are not active.  Did a search for my profile name... just mantis and there's heaps of em and have hardly played the game...lol

  Its easy to sell advertising space on a website that shows five million members. Companies looking to advertise see those five million people as potential customers, whether their active or not may not matter. But I'm sure WGT doesn't divulge that information to companies looking to spend thousands of dollars in Ad space.

  Gentlemen, here's my math. A couple of months ago WGT went from 100 million played rounds to 200 million played rounds. 5 Million players in 5 year WGT (give or take whatever, i've got no clue) adds up to 8 rounds per person per year.....doh.

  No clue as to how many there are..Less then 5 million no doubt. Let me guess:

  5% makes it to Legend. 4000-ish  legends makes it 100.000-ish players. Still sells advertizing space.

  There was a way of seeing number of players online and number playing.  Most I've seen online at any one time was about 7500, with only about 3500 playing.  And that was at USA peak time.  Doesn't say much for the 5 million members!

  i've kept my eye on the accumulation of number of user ID's over last 10 days or so .. WGT added about 30 000 new user ID's over last ten days .. no idea how that translates into active players eventually .. i reckon active players might be anywhere in region of 250-350 000 ... thats about $30 000 000 in ball sales alone per annum .. my guestimate

  small operation & higly liquid is my guess .. now if they can only improve customer service ... the sky will be the limit then ... if i was them then i'd be on top of that dept for sure

  If you look at some of the other comments (ABOVE).....WGT membership is somewhere between 1 to 5 million. Of course, I have no idea how many are really "active". But, your guess on ball sales alone is probably not a "low balled" figured. Now, ADD sales of all other golf equipment......But, I'm just guessing that the golf equipment revenues is nothing when compared with ALL of those ADs......ya' think? LOL.
