In what ways are "Scored" matches different from practice?  Also, When playing a challenge, do you play even-up when your opponent is in a different bracket?

Scored games count to your stats, practice games do not.

The main difference in the game is that tees and greens are selected according to the tiers in scored matches (and A/S), wind being random, while the invitee choses these three characteristics in a practice game.

Consequences for practice games: All players play from the same tees (an advantage for the advanced), and the fastest possible green speed is "very fast", which limits "practice".

In scored games, the green speed is set up acc. to the highest tier involved, i.e. LegendTournament speed if a Legend plays.

    Edit:

"Challenge" is a ranked game for money, therefore the tees are according to tiers, greens acc. to highest tier.

In Skins games, the choice is only practice and challenge. So, in a friendly game, the better (higher) player has a advantage, a heavy one due to the skin carry over.

An example: Playing a 9 hole practice skin against a Legend, I tied 7 holes and lost only two, the result being 8:0 (last hole tied). Counted as a match, it would have been 2 and 1, a loss, too, but at a reasonable margin.
