  This brings to mind a thought (that I think has already been raised previously) and makes sense to help "avoid" these situations.

  Whatever happened to the idea of a saved configuration to choose when starting play?  I would swear this was brought up at some point, but can't find the post to save my life (kind of like my putting).

  Yeah, where is that post with a suggestion on how to "avoid" these situations?

  TBF. You could ask to restart the Alt game. If the other team ave already one the first hole (i.e. you're driving second), you could just concede the first hole on the re set up.
