I know it's been said, but it's a ripoff.  Skins are a blast to play, especially with the right players.  However, your fee, WGT, is unfair.

I played a game with one other player instead of three or four.  I won 5 of the 9 skins......and still netted a loss.  That's criminal.  WGT should be ashamed of itself for that.  That's one avenue of play I truly enjoy but won't play again until your structure is fixed.

I know, and thanks for the comment, Icon.  But....

Skins is a completely different format from Match.

Match requires you to play well over an entire 9 or 18.  Skins allows you to scrape by for several holes and get lucky on one and take the entire booty on one hole.  It's a different kind of pressure as the carryovers mount.

Match also always favors the better player.  Skins allows a Pro to compete with a Hack AND a Legend and still not know where he may fall if he plays well.  It fosters community in a different way.

And, skins with 3-4 people....yes, it's the way it's designed....but things don't always turn out like you plan.  If you are last in the lobby, you post your credits and a player drops out while the original creator tees off on you without so much as a question as to if you'd like to play 3way, 4way or headsup.  ONLY the creator of the game has control.  And, if I bail, I lose my posted credits, right?

But, the simple fact remains.......why do we get charged a fee to play skins?  It's the equivalent to "rake" in poker tables, but at least casinos supply the dealer they have to pay for.  WGT is just skimming the till.  Your business model has advertising to pay for your expenses.

It just feels like you are taking credits for nothing provided.  To balance things out, you wouldn't hear complaints if you charged a fee for matches, stroke play games, and a/s games from the very beginning.  Implement that now, though, and watch your membership disappear.
