Someone may have raised this before, but it would be nice to see how "used" the equipped ball is before we tee off.  I was careless and teed off in the Kia B9 RG with only 1 ball left. I realized I was screwed when I got to #17 -7 and got swapped out for a starter ball :)

If I had seen in my equipment screen that the ball was near or nearing depletion, I would've bought some more first. It was mostly my mistake, but it'd be nice to know how much we've got left on the balls we buy.

    Clarence,

I see what you are saying, but it is possible to buy more balls of the same type and color during the round if you happen to notice you are getting low.  As a general rule though, I usually try to refill once I see my ball count get under 3, just to keep on top of it.

Aha, I actually never realized I could buy more balls and refill during the round. That alleviates my concern. Thanks for the tip!

p.s. Like I said, it was mostly my fault for being lazy and not refilling earlier.

You can. That's what the slider under the ball is for. It turns red way before it runs out and you can buy more while in the game like Lee pointed out.

Thanks YJ, I meant before you get into the game (i.e. while browsing your equipment options).

    hi cyl6,

I think I liken this to the real golf game - it would be a nice feature, but none of us go golfing for real without sticking a paw in the old' side pouch  to see how many balls we have left, before teeing off. Same should be done here, I think. Would be nice, but I'd like to see WGT spend their resources right now on more courses!

Sorry for the threadjack, but wouldn't it be most logical to switch to the next best golf ball in your inventory once you run out of the ones currently used?  Especially for those of us who are "experimenting".  Just a thought.

Yeah but like Avatar said you should never go in unprepared, and none the less with only one golf ball (in case you lose one).

Also, remember that if you run out of your favorite balls during the round you must play the rest of the round with the starter balls. So always keep at least 3 balls in your bag before starting a round.
