Having agreed to play Johndotkirby at match play on his suggested course, timer and whatever else for credits (which I'm totally not bothered about) he went behind on the second hole.

Where upon he decided it was prudent to cancel the game, which I declined. Mainly because having also put up the equivalent stake I felt it unfair that he then decides so early in the game that he doesn't fancy it anymore.

    So the game continued.

At hole 6 I think I've have a certain putt to go 2 up, so John sends the offer of forfeiting the match and no records are kept  (for the umptenth time), to which once more I decline and the timer runs out and I'm docked 2 shots this time for the same offence but having suffered from the same tactic again.

    Be wary of this WGTer.

WGT, may I suggest that if the cancel match is sent to an opponent and then if declined the timer resets.

Just a thought, would appreciate some feedback.

    Lovin the game,

    gav

WGT frowns upon using names in the forums for reporting issues such as this, be very careful with it.

As far as what your opponent did, shame on him!!

I apologies and won't let it happen again, I'm glad you understood what went on. I've always been very honourable in my matches both on WGT and out there on the course.

You can't, gc. There's no good answer other than to alert WGT by e-mail with as many details as you can provide. Include what he posted on your wall because that's as damning as anything.  GL
