My experience with this is, I need to take a club rated longer than the distance to the hole. Otherwise I get the "zoom" rather than the "reverse" angle.
It`s an extra step and a pain, considering that most of these short shots, I`m using a shorter club than the actual distance to hole. On the other hand, alot of times I switch to the putter because it gives a reverse view And a full "club to hole" grid which helps me to visualize the shot better for the "landing zone" and any other bounces and rolls the ball might take before reaching the hole.
Hope this helps...btw, what ever happened to the "bird campaign"? I`m still a supporter of it :).
