Ok I'm relatively new here, I've made pro and am quite happy with the game overall. I do wish I could read the greens better, distance no probs but the swing I still struggle with. However I'm sure I'll get there with practice.
One thing that does bother me is the logic behind what we see on the putting surface, I was playing Oakmont yesterday (I think) and I was on a flat part of the green, the grid was black for at least 5 squares in each direction, yet the white dots were moving across the grid like someone had force fed them crack cocaine and set fire to their pubic hair! What gives? If the green is flat how can the ball swing violently right or left? What's the thinking behind that?
I know this isn't real golf, (I don't play the real game) but it is supposed to be realistic(ish) so surely there must be some kind of explanation?
