  I have a great idea!  How about WGT NOT pre-select our clubs and putter scales.  I would like to do that myself without having to remember each time to check that it is what I want.  

  I can't count the number of times I have made a putt and then discovered that the scale is NOT what I wanted.  If the scale has to be set by the player prior to hitting, that will no longer happen.  

  At very minimum, put in the settings an opportunity to turn these things on or off.

  Sounds fair.  I'd rather scroll up or down a club or two instead of going to the bag.  What would be nice is to be able to set default shots for your short game.  But I guess they figure 'We'll go by distance and you change it if you don't like it"  Plenty of room for arguement there...

  Just think of it as turned off and always click on what club or putter scale you want even if it matches what the virtual caddie has already recommended. That's what I do on every shot and putt. Never have a problem with the putter scale being wrong or the wrong club on an approach shot.

  Once you sort a routine to do before each shot, it doesn't really matter what the starting point is.
