  Everyone likes awards and not the participation awards that are given out in 6th grade team sports today.

  The awards that WGT put in place several years ago need to be tweaked a little.  We have added some but another review is in order.

  Some of the awards just need to go.  I don't want to work for 100 hours to get the yips award or the sand award.  Some of them are too difficult and some are too easy, it isn't hard to tell which ones should be tweaked.  The putting challenge has made the current highest blitz award meaningless for example.

  Stats...........we all love them, fantasy football, golf, baseball, you name it.  Can it be so difficult to build a stat board so we can see what everyone has done.  We talk about it on the forums all the time......who has the longest drive, longest putt, etc. why not put them on a board for all to see.  Those stats exist in everyone's profile, it can't be that hard to do, we have a money list we need them all.

  When I first began the game, I thought the awards were great, an added incentive to try and improve, but now I find them all meaningless.

  Pesonally I would keep them for Hacks, Amateurs and even Pro but abolish them for a Tiers above this, reset them to more meaninful stats like Driving Accuracy, GIR, Putting average etc. If I get an award now it would be more likely to be a Golden Yips or Waterboy award, and even if it is for a more glamourous award for hitting all pins on a course (but I do wonder who has received this one) - it means zilch to me.

  The awards should have a greater emphasis on the meaningful statistics, the ones that actually help your score, and as the stats do exist in the players profile,  revamp the system to fewer awards but more meaningful ones.

  It'd be nice to be able to reset stats .  Have a Career Total and a current total (with a start date posted) or even Monthly.

  Be nice to have something that tells us which pins we still need to hit.  Not that I'll ever do it.  Even a scorecard for CTTH Potential Best scores.  Sure we have a number to shoot for but which holes do we need to improve on unless we keep track ourselves.
