  Hey Gang,having a great time on this site.I have question about multiple players,most of the time I can connect with 1 player on "join a group",but every once in a while I seem to connect with 3-4 players.I am time restricted and would rather play 1 on 1.Am I missing a step somewhere,that would connect me with just 1 player?Again great game.

  You would have to set up the game yourself and only invite in one slot.

  If you are joining a random group you cannot limit the number of players.

  This is what you would do if you only wanted a one on one game. You could also just play match play, because then you're sure to get a one-on-one game.
