  is there a way to get more distance from clubs or is that about the type of clubs you buy?or do you gain distance as you progress?

  hi

  different clubs are rated for difference distances. the rating is showing in the proshop a range like 120-225, which means pw is 120 and 3i is 225 and other clubs are in between.

  you could also use balls to augment the distance and other properties.

  You can tweak the length with appropriate use of top- and backspin, but generally speaking there are a few properties which we must buy here (clubs and balls):

  length, spin and precision.

  Looking into your profile, I'd propose to start with two custom wedges, Ping or above. They add a lot of precision to your short game. The rest, including the WGT balls, will do for the moment.

   

  There won't be a bonus in length based on experience like in other games where you build up strength etc. - no such dynamics here.
