  In the tier specific ready go's can we quit with the baby tees, hitting a wedge for your approach shot on 80% of the holes is not a challenge and is not fun. I just got into the new TL Oakmont 18 RG and as soon as I saw the white tees I withdrew BORRRRRRING

  totally agree, plus it should be indicated somewhere what the tees are, like one can see wind strength and hole location difficulty.

  I agree all wind strengths and green speeds more than enough variety in that but as far as the other pass it is like look mom I can hit a wedge weally cwose to the hole pfft borrrrringgg

  I just entered that tournament and remembered reading in the forums that this RG was to be from the white tees, then why am I playing from the championship tees.

  Addendum

  Just notice that there are two of them, one with moderate winds (champ tees) and one with low winds (must be the white tees)

  You either have "wedges on roids" or getting some good winds...lol

   

  Why should it matter what tees you play, especially within your own tier?

  Yes very true. You should be happy that they are giving you a better chance at scoring low. Guess what that means? That means that they are giving you a better chance at winning MONEY. And with money, you can buy golf balls and new clubs. And who doesn't want credits in this game? Plus, variety is the spice of life.

  Scoring low means a better chance of winning MONEY? Are you kidding man? You have a better chance to win MONEY (let me keep the caps:)) if you score relatively better compared to other players. And with baby tees, if you can score 28-29, so can the others... And for those of us who don't have robotic like ability to play 7-8 holes in a row without making a mistake or two (like me) low scoring RGs actually mean LESS chance to win MONEY...

  one more time for the people in the cheap seats, there are not that many ready go's to choose from so if you start making some from the BABY tees which is boring as hell to play there is LESS variety
