Wouldn't it be better for the game designers to have spent more time making the actual game play more difficult, rather than arbitrarily programming balls to roll up hill on the greens of high stroke index holes; presumably to mimic the difficulty of the real world hole.

Similarly, the distance control on approach shots can lack consistency depending on how hard they think the hole should play. Personally, I like the idea of a very difficult golf game; but to do things like misdirect players by indicating the wrong speed of greens instead of fairer challenges, will do little to encourage new players to join or existing players to recommend WGT to friends.

Whilst we all appreciate that real golf is full of unlucky bounces and variable lies, these are in the hands of the player to puzzle out, rather than the decision of a programmer.

How about giving us players the courtesy of a consistent game. Difficult  - great, but keep it fair.

One has only to look at your clubs to see the reason. WGT is in this business to make money. Nothing wrong with that.

Couldn't agree wih you more!!  My thought is that phyical abuse was a part of the designers upbringing.  I play this game to relax & have fun, not be to be challenged like it's the friggin' US Open every round.

I've hit more shots playing this game that DEFY THE LAW OF PHYSICS, than beers I've drank this year.  Driving is fine, and approaces are OK, but the chipping & putting side  things are JUST PLAIN STUPID!  Tutorials aside, if they just followed Golden Tee a little, and made it EASIER FOR THE MASSES, everyone would be MUCH HAPPIER!

As the USGA says, in an effort to make golf moe enjoyable, Tee it foward!  This should be FUN, not boot camp!
