Do you fine folks at WGT create these new awards and their numbers late into the weekly office parties?
Let's see, to get the Diamond Water Boy award (ooh, I want that one), you have to hit the water 5,000 times. To get the Diamond In The Drink award, you have to make par after doing so 10,000 times.
You get Diamond for hitting 4,000 fairways, sinking 6,000 putts, and making 3,000 pars. Yet, to get the Diamond Sandman, you have to make par or better out of the bunker 10,000 times.
Just a few examples. Far be it from me to criticize WGT (I don't wanna get VEMed), but it seems to me that these numbers aren't etched in stone and could be adjusted more realistically.
Don't know if I've mentioned this before, but YOU STILL DON'T HAVE A CHIP-IN AWARD.
ps: I know I posted this earlier, but got no response. Thought I would here some squawks.
