can anyone at wgt explain to me how averages are worked out. i shoot some very low scores on ranked games and i only come down by .01 or .02 this seems daft. im 62.96 now i shot -13 in a ready go yesterday and came down by .01 thats a joke. i put a lot of money into this site but getting to the stage where i am thinking about jacking it in.

Your average is a function of your total ranked rounds at a given tier, Legend in your case.  As the number of ranked rounds rises, the effect of a single round on your average diminishes.  A high score won't increase your average much at all and likewise neither will a low score lower your average very much.

At a certain point, your average will "saturate" and scores above your average won't affect it, and scores below it will lower it gradually, usually in increments of .01.

If you have an average of 62.96 over 200 scores shooting a 59 will bring your average down by .02.

You have 171 scores shown on the profile which average 61.76, so there are more scores available to WGT if your average is 62.96.  Sounds about right.

Seems like your having the opposite problem to a lot of others...Go figure ?

WGT works in mysterious ways......Mind you, they probably left Legend + tiers with the old system ?  no baggers up here............Andy

Some courses will bring your average down further for the same result than others.
