    Hy Gents & Ladys .

    In the most conditions I calculate the distance from putts 95%.

    But with bigger putts, where you have to go strange up or down i have a big problem. Example you have to go up to the cup:

    Down distance 32 feet. Up distance 25.  Very fast green. If you calculate 32 + 25 / 1,2 its not enough power to hit the ball in to the cup. It can be that the ball rolls back down with this shott distance, or you reached the half distance if you like. Whats up with this ??

    Can i bee, that the top number are yards ???? Not feets ??

    See what the elevation is past the hole. It could continue going up so you would need more power.

    @Ang1K

    True elevation. But i cant know the power you need to hit the elevation, if you dont have a information about. And im talking about the strange elevation here.

    @TheBigEasy

    Thank youi like to search for this pages.

    For very fast and Master tourney greens, I simply add length (feet) and slope (inches!). Include the scale factor ( /1.2 very fast (30=36), /1.3 tourney (30=39)) and add 2 ft to safely come in or past the hole. This gives me the length to be drawn on the meter.

    Tourney greens: cautious downhill and with big scales, take a few %% off.

    Slower greens=less slope allowance, faster greens=more (and more caution downhill).

    No.. Alosso...

    You dont read my question well.

    Im talking about Strange elivations. Not the 10 or 15 feet more or less you  have to calculate.

    St. Andrews # 3

    In front of the hole. Distance give me : down  feet 32

                                                                        up        feet 23     very fast green

    I calculeted : 32 : 1.2 /  26,6 + 23 = 49,6 i had the 45 putter distance and give them full swing.That the ball was on the same line like the hole.

    Can be true, that you have only to calculate the down numbers % give the top number full to the first calculation .
