Under Single Player Game choose Select Course, Oakmont. It will automatically take you to the start screen for Oakmont where you can click Virtual Championship-Play Now.

It's not available in the Stroke Play section yet, I assume it will be after the U.S. Open qualifying is over.
But significantly there appears to be no practice option for Oakmont - just a plunge in the deep water.
You can use "practice mode" at Oakmont by beginning a multiplayer game....Harve
this course is so hard!! best i could manage was -1 the other day, no way am i gonna get anywhere in open tourney

So now we have the "regular" Oakmont. It is a pussycat! Eminently playable.
