Is the US Open Championship at Oakmont instead of Pebble Beach? It just makes no sense at all to me. It's nice having Oakmont, but not nice having it advertised as if it were the location of the US Open.

The US Women's Open is being held at Oakmont this year. We advertise the event as the USGA Virtual Championship to avoid any confusion.
