It's a video game that plays USGA/PGA sanctioned courses through licensing from those country clubs and these organizations. Therefore it conforms to the rules and regulations set forth by those those country clubs and governing bodies. So no it shouldn't be allowed and yes you can buy another sleeve or more of balls of the same type instead of reverting to the starters as explained previously. This ain't Links golf or TW golf...lol (said light heartedly)

That is a poor excuse. If you want to try out different balls , then you play practice rounds. You can set the course conditions for how you want to play. Also, you have several types of balls, so you have already wasted your credits. You dont enter into ranked rounds with out making sure that you have enough balls to play with. I`m a casual player , and yet I keep my ball stock to at least 5 balls before  I buy more. Also the game will tell you when you are low on balls. If you chose to ignore that , then the fault is yours alone.Dont blame the game, because you made a poor decision. I hate to say this , but the village idiots at WGT were smarter than you this time. Now if you will excuse me, I have to go wash my mouth out with soap. Taking WGT`s side on this , left a bad taste in my mouth.Happy Swinging.

    PaulUrwin:

Hi, why do i have to forfeit my round in order to re-equip with decent balls? its surely not my fault i cant determine how many hits i have left on the last ball and wether or not it will last a round. simply defaulting back to the starter balls is clearly not acceptable.

Before someone says why dont you just make sure you have spares before you start, the reason i dont have spares is i'm trying out several different ball types so dont want to buy more than 1 pack when i might not use them all, wasting my dwindling credits.

Am i missing something? If not, this rule is clearly written by the village idiot.

With the way WGT has the last ball warning set up there should only be 2 reasons to run out of balls during  round.

#1 You have decided that you are not going to use that particular type of ball any longer and are just using them up.

#2 you don't have enough credits to buy any more balls.

But either way you can't blame WGT for it it was your decision.

2nd time I thought "well you don't learn do you, that will never happen again"

This time I thought "RGs and beer don't mix"...ALL ME !!  (: Andy
