  Well it is, I have acquired the new Nike method putter today, which totally replicates what I use in Real Life, so today I am also practising for real, for a big game on Thursday.

  I am never sure whether one should replicate here on WGT what we do in RL, perhaps uneven lies yes, but nonethe less I am not sure. Or should we try to replicate our WGT golf in Real Life.

  Hence the voyage of discovery on the practice ground today, especially with the putting.

  A mixture of anticipation and trepidation for sure.

  My 28 putt 68 round Kiawah isn't great.

  Are you sure that

  new groove technology that provides a better roll for greater accuracy

  can be or is replicated virtually? IMHO, it's but a software designed to accomodate certain variables, affecting the characteristics of the virtual equipment, displayed to us via a changing pattern of coloured pixels. More than that, I give a d... about brands here.

  OTOH, I see a beneficial interaction between my virtual golf and real golf. The shots in WGT are so realistic that I can use my RL experience for course management (except for shot lengths - I'd like to replicate my G20 shots in reality). And, practicing putting on WGT greens has changed (if not bettered) my RL putting:
  I have a different approach towards slope and speed. On the downside, 3 foot putts aren't gimmes in reality ;)

  Don't think there is any real correlation betweem WGT and RL life clubs, just buy whichever 'dots' suit your wgt game ? ...Andy
