the fact that any player that reaches lets say level 80 no matter what their tier ranking may be is allowed to purchase the same clubs has its flaws ,

i realize WGT does this so they can generate more money ,

I have no problem with this whatsoever ,

but this gives lets say a tour pro or lower a much more of an advantage over a master or up due to their starting tee distance   and anybody thats played this game knows what im talking about,  giving 1 player an extra 30yds + over another player with the same clubs  creates a very unfair match  and needs to be fixed .

now i know that the purpose of the different tee distances are so that different player levels can compete with each other on the course according to their ranking , thus having a fair game

but by giving 2 players with different tier rankings the same clubs without adjusting the starting tee distances can ruin any kind of a fair challenge , especially when playing for credits

my solution which makes total sense that would not take away any money that WGT would make , while at the same time, even the playing field for all who want to play each other is quite simple

if a lower ranking player decides he wants the 280 or over driver , they should also have to tee off at the correct tees that those clubs were meant for ,

this would eliminate any players that level up playing games that don't effect your ranking , yet are allowed to have a great advantage over their opponent

i would explain in more detail but i think you all get my point ,,,,

what do you all think ?

It only evens the game if the players have the same ability. While it is one way to combat sandbagging it heavily penalizes the legitimate player who has lesser ability.

A better solution would be to apply a set % of lowered club performance based on a person's tier. Legends and Tour Legends have their drivers perform at 100%. Have driver distance drop something like 5% each tier below that as you go down the line.

Hopefully, though, suggesting more changes like these to try to even the game will soon be unnecessary. We should have some patience and faith that WGT will make proper adjustments to the leveling up standards recently implemented. In case you missed it those standards include other forms of play beside stroke play. They take into account the quality of opponent, too.

I wish WGT would have an actual ranking system based on many things . For example ranked by M/P's, strokeplay ranks etc etc. Somehwat to what cases ladder does or what EA sports did with TW. They actually gave you a world ranking based on how well you played.

This would also combat sandbagging/multiaccounters because then it would be a disadvantage to lose your stats and such.

Rewards and Tournaments invites could also be based on these rankings. It was always nice to look at numbers player by player and see how you compared with the rest of the worlds players.

It would take some work but it can be done.

    thats a stupid idea

the right thing is wgt should bring out Titliest Clubs based on your tier.

    e.g hack driver av 230

    Amateur av 245

    pro 255

    Tour pro 270

    Master 280

    Tour Mater 300

    Legend and Tour Legend 310
