From the title of the thread it looks like a post about disconnects but it's not. I have encountered a problem ( not so frequently but enough to get under my skin)  players who just let the shot clock run out three consecutive times in order to quit the game. It is not a disconnect they are still on there with other players waiting to shoot. They just time out until they are disqualified!  Does that count the same as a disconnect or quit game or is that a way to bypass a loss in finished game %? There is no way for me to know since I can't review % on a player profile only when they are playing or setting up. It seems like some players found a loophole they are using to aviod a loss in %

In an alternate shot game it no longer effects the percentage. I believe in a stoke game, it will lower the percentage...

Okay I forgot to mention I was refering to stroke play I am well aware there is no penalty in alternate ( though quitters should be penalized). I played a game tonight where a player forfieted through the menu button didn't bother me a bit. At least he quit the right way and didn't make the game drag on.

It could be something else though. I did that very thing to a friend in match play. Why? I fell asleep and slept through all 3 timeouts. When I woke up I saw the you have been disqualified due to to many time out message.I apologized to him in our CC forum. Some people might be too embarrassed to admit they fell asleep playing, It might not be the case for you but it does happen.

Wouldn't a quitter who does not quit just be an er?

    Or is that displaced nomenclature?

Either way it smacks of bottom lips falling off, either through sleep/doze or brattish spoiltness.
