Played an AS game on Kiawah recently, and our opponents landed in 25-30% MULCH.

In 2 years playing on WGT I've never seen mulch before - and neither had our opponents. They tried a variety of shots to make it out, but none moved the ball at all and they eventually conceded the hole.

So, WGT regulars, what's the best way to play out of mulch?  Over to you.....

Yeah. Nasty stuff at Kiawah, to the right of the 7th green, if memory serves. First tried a full pitch shot with the most lofted wedge and nothing happened.

I think there's mulch on one of the Harbour Town holes but it isn't very difficult.

Only way I've ever gotten out of it is a full wedge and not to spin below the mulch line, but get as low as possible.

One club more than you think. If its a 60 yard shot go up to 80.

If i land in mulch just off the green on hole 7 i add 18 yards with full bs and hit full shot..usually works well with my little 50 yrd club.
