  I have 237 awards which is probably an average number for a player who has been around for a while

  I have never looked at these awards. I have read that a large number friends affects Quality of play (meter?)  I hope this somewhat useless feature doesn't somehow jam up my game - I doubt it.... but any thoughts?

  No, it does not have any effect on your gameplay........lol
