Been playing a while so this may seem an odd question----but what exactly does the three characteristics (precision,forgiveness,&balance) on putters actually mean to you?
Precision is about your accuracy in your swing ding.
Forgiveness is the width of that ding
Balance is ..... very interesting.

Balance is how good the club feels leaving your hands as you helicopter the sumbish into the nearest lake.

I think of Balance as how well the putter keeps its accuracy when you hit longer putts ie does hitting it harder make it go offline.
But I prefer this explanation :-)
