It doesn't always have to be WGT's fault when disconnections occur, just as it wasn't in my latest disconnect. I live in the NorthEast and we're experiencing some wet windy weather this AM. That combined with all the heavy leaves on the trees must off caused a temporary power interuption. In the middle of my alt/shot match the power went off, so I'd like to apologize to Sveene, and Smudger I believe, and I think my P's user name was DJem with some numbers following it. None are on my friends list so I can't forward my apologies in messages. Guess that will go against my reputation rank, which is yellow already through no fault of my own. It sure can't take many uncompleted rounds to give you that ranking, because I've had few, and like previously mentioned I'm yellow.
Hi cdefghi
Thing is, its through no fault of your opponents either that you have had enough disconnections to make you yellow.
However, by saying that I am by no means trying to say that you a quitter / bad person etc. I am sure you are a damn good guy.
The way I interpret the reputation colour is purely based on the fact that there is less chance that a game will get completed against a yellow....and even less against red. Its not about the reason...just cold plain fact. Personally I quite like that function before I get into a game. It gives players the chance to consider if they want to play against an opponent who may not get to the end, again...just fact, not a reflection on the person.
I am sure you find it as frustrating as anyone when they disconnect from a game you are in. This colour function gives us all a little bit more of an idea.
Anyway, please don't take it as a personal criticism, and if you need someone to get a round in with you to get you back to green then send me a friend request and I will be happy to oblige.
Cheers
JN
P.S - thats about as sensible as I have ever been in these forums. I think i must be ill..... I promise to never be this sensible again
